FOX Alternative Entertainment (FAE) is launching FASTRACK, an initiative for unscripted programming designed to nurture producers from diverse backgrounds.<\/p>\n
Allison Wallach, executive VP, head of FOX Alternative Entertainment, will spearhead the initiative, which will bring new talent\u2014with different life experiences\u2014to work behind the camera on FAE series.<\/p>\n
FASTRACK will select two to three candidates to join as associate producers on production teams across various FAE-produced shows, including The Masked Singer<\/em>. The selected FASTRACK associate producers will gain exposure to many areas of production, including casting, directing and editing. The year-long immersive program will provide the candidates with on-the-ground, hands-on production experience, as well as guidance and advice from the FAE team.<\/p>\n After six months, the FASTRACK associate producers will be able to specialize in one area of their choosing. At the end of the term, FAE will have the opportunity to potentially tap FASTRACK associate producers to continue working on FAE-produced shows.<\/p>\n The initiative kicks off with its inaugural class in January 2021.<\/p>\n \u201cFOX has long been committed to providing viewers with programming that reflects the world in which we live,\u201d said Wallach. \u201cAs we build FAE, we are continuing FOX\u2019s legacy with FASTRACK, creating opportunities for underrepresented individuals early in their career.
