{"id":7970,"date":"2020-12-02T09:52:13","date_gmt":"2020-12-02T14:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/network-10-commissions-cube\/"},"modified":"2020-12-02T16:04:41","modified_gmt":"2020-12-02T21:04:41","slug":"network-10-commissions-the-cube","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/network-10-commissions-the-cube\/","title":{"rendered":"Network 10 Commissions The Cube"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>all3media international is working with ITV Studios Australia to bring the game show <em>The Cube<\/em> to Network 10 in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>ITV Studios Australia will locally produce the game show, originally created by Objective Media Group for ITV in the U.K. The local version of<em> The Cube<\/em> will broadcast in Australia on Network 10 and WIN Network in early 2021, with Australian TV and radio presenter Andy Lee hosting.<\/p>\n<p>The commission follows the recent successful reboot of the format in the U.K., <em>The Million Pound Cube<\/em>, for ITV, which achieved ratings of over 4 million viewers.<\/p>\n<p>Head of programming at 10 ViacomCBS, Daniel Monaghan, said: &#8220;Andy Lee is one of the most popular and talented comedians in Australia, and we are thrilled he will host this brilliant series. <em>The Cube<\/em> has been a huge success in the U.K. for years, and to bring this edge-of-your-seat game show to Australia for a local prime-time version, with Andy Lee no less, is a fantastic addition to our 2021 schedule.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sabrina Duguet, executive VP for AsiaPac at all3media international, said: \u201cWe are delighted that Network 10, a great home for TV entertainment, has commissioned <em>The Cube<\/em>. The show\u2014originally produced by Objective Media Group for ITV\u2014has proven its credentials in finding family viewers across several years, in several countries. We are also excited to see the new features in <em>The Cube<\/em>\u2019s recent reboot, including two-player teams, new games and lifelines, adding to the adrenaline-filled fun of this format.
