International Television Production (WBITVP) has struck a deal with Hungry McBear Media to serve as the exclusive international distributor of the\u00a0feel-good game show\u00a0<em>The Wheel<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted by Michael McIntyre for BBC One,\u00a0<em>The Wheel<\/em> is a brand-new quiz format that features a giant, never-before-seen celebrity-packed spinning wheel. Contestants compete to win jackpot prizes, helped by a rotating roster of celebrity experts.<\/p>\n<p>WBITVP will be the international distributor for the show, bringing <em>The Wheel<\/em> to global audiences through its network of local production companies and taking the show to the international marketplace for remaining territories. WBITVP will represent both format and finished tape rights outside of the U.K. and U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Dan Baldwin, managing director of Hungry Bear Media, said: &#8220;We are extremely excited and proud to bring <em>The Wheel<\/em> to international audiences and to have WBITVP as our distribution and production partner. The passion shown by the team at Warner Bros., their vast experience and deep international reach, means that they are best placed to grow our show into the next global hit format.
