The show was developed as part of its Biu Project, a content-incubation and pilot-production program that was set up to create a new pipeline for the Chinese linear channel and international partners. Indeed, Hunan TV has been busy lining up format alliances with global partners, including industry giants as well as smaller indies, sourcing standout ideas and projects from around the world.
