It will go head to head with the recently announced BBC One talent competition<em>\u00a0Little Mix The Search<\/em>, which\u00a0will see the multi-award-winning group creating bands and becoming mentors to a new wave of talent.<\/p>\n<p>An <em>X Factor<\/em> spokesperson said: \u201cWe are hugely excited to confirm <em>The X Factor: The Band<\/em> to air in December 2019 on ITV. Simon Cowell and <em>The X Factor<\/em> have discovered some of the biggest pop groups in history, including One Direction, Fifth Harmony and Little Mix.
