Germany\u2019s RTL II has commissioned a four-episode local version of Lime Pictures\u2019 Celebs Go Dating<\/em>, per a deal with all3media international and sister company all3media Deutschland.<\/p>\n

The soon-to-launch German version will be produced by Tower Productions, a joint venture of all3media and BBC Studios. Casting for the series is currently underway, with shooting set to take place over the summer. In the U.K., Celebs Go Dating<\/em> is currently in production on its seventh season, with 125 episodes having been broadcast on E4 so far.<\/p>\n

Celebs Go Dating<\/em> follows single celebrities as they join an exclusive dating agency in a bid to find true love by being matched with members of the public. The show\u2019s dating experts use all their matchmaking skills to pair the single celebrities with prospective partners, while offering them pre- and post-date analysis and tips on how they might improve their dating technique.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Tower Productions\u2019 Naked Attraction<\/em>, another dating format that airs on RTL II, is set to broadcast its third season.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Hughes, sales manager for EMEA North at all3media international, who negotiated the format deal, commented: \u201cWe\u2019re very pleased to secure this new order in Germany for Celebs Go Dating<\/em> and to see Naked Attraction<\/em> back on screen. Already an established hit on the U.K.\u2019s E4, Celebs Go Dating<\/em> sees well-known faces take their search for love out into the \u2018real\u2019 world in an experience that\u2019s as emotional as it is entertaining, proving that the issues they face are just the same as ours. Although vastly different, both factual-entertainment series offer unique and refreshing perspectives on real life that are hugely relatable to viewers around the world and it\u2019s a pleasure to see Tower Productions along with RTL II adapt these successful formats for German viewers.\u201d<\/p>\n
