Last week, CJ ENM confirmed that it had inked a development deal for the format with Endemol Shine in France. In the U.S., the show has been optioned by Smart Dog Media\u2019s Craig Plestis. Following a successful debut season in Korea, the second season of the format is slated to bow on tvN in May.<\/p>\n<p>Diane Min, CJ ENM\u2019s head of format sales, said: \u201cIt is really exciting to see the show getting deals sealed during this MIPTV. Many companies are also asking about the show, and we expect to announce a few more deals soon as well. In <em>300: War of United Voices<\/em>, the fans participate directly along with their idol artist for the once-in-a-lifetime stage. That differentiates it from other music entertainments.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Axel K\u00fchn from Tresor TV added: \u201c[<em>300: War of United Voices<\/em>] is a completely new approach to the music-show genre. It unites music superstars with their fans, big emotions and outstanding and unique music performances. We are very happy to continue our business relationship with CJ ENM by working together on this exciting format and rolling it out in Germany.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Plestis commented: &#8220;<em>300<\/em> harkens back to what I fell in love with on <em>The Masked Singer<\/em>\u2014a grandiose spin on something familiar. Blowing a performance show up on this scale delivers incredible fan engagement and creates undeniable social media buzz.
