MTV International\u2019s reality game show True Love or True Lies?<\/em> has been commissioned for a sophomore season.<\/p>\n

The 12×1-hour series will continue to be produced by Lime Pictures and will air on MTV\u2019s network of channels across 180 countries later this year. The show was a ratings hit for MTV UK when it premiered, resulting in the channel earning its highest-ever weekly share among 16- to 34-year-olds.<\/p>\n

The format involves a group of duos competing to be crowned the \u201cperfect couple.\u201d The twist is that not all of the pairs are real couples, and the contestants must figure out who the real lovers and liars are in the group in order to win the cash prize.<\/p>\n
