The <em>Got Talent<\/em> format, co-owned by SYCO Entertainment and Fremantle, was created by Simon Cowell.<\/p>\n<p>Angus Ross, Channel Seven\u2019s director of network programming, said: \u201cFamily-friendly variety shows have always played an important role in Seven\u2019s schedule and the timing feels right for the biggest of them all\u2013<em>AGT<\/em>\u2013to return home to Seven in 2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chris Oliver-Taylor, CEO of Fremantle in the Asia Pacific, added: \u201cThe <em>Got Talent<\/em> format is a global phenomenon with audiences and its production values are without peer. We are thrilled to be partnering with Seven to bring a local version of this scale to Australian audiences.
