Walberg set to return.<\/p>\n<p>The ten-episode series, produced by Banijay Studios North America, will premiere on January 15. The series follows four dating couples at a pivotal time in their relationships, where they must mutually decide if they are ready to commit to one another for the rest of their lives or should go their separate ways.<\/p>\n<p><em>Temptation Island\u00a0<\/em>originally aired from 2001 to 2003 in the U.S. on FOX.<\/p>\n<p>David Goldberg, CEO of Banijay Studios North America, commented: \u201cIn a period of revival television, the return of <em>Temptation Island<\/em>, a show that leapt onto the scene with equal parts ratings bang and media attention, makes all the sense in the world.\u00a0<em>Temptation Island<\/em> retains key format elements, but a concerted effort was made to populate the island with singles genuinely looking for love whose personalities are appealing to the four couples who are questioning the long-term viability of their relationships. <em>Temptation Island<\/em> has never been more relevant because in so many ways it mirrors the way singles and couples navigate today\u2019s myriad of options to connect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs cable\u2019s number one entertainment network for 12 years and running, USA is home to some of the most-talked-about shows on TV,\u201d said Chris McCumber, president of entertainment networks for NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. \u201cOur reboot of\u00a0<em>Temptation Island<\/em> is sure to spark intrigue, debate and conversation for a whole new generation of viewers.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>USA Network is bringing back the classic reality series Temptation Island to U.S. audiences, with original host Mark L.
