Televisa\u2019s adaptation is expected to have 41 hour-long episodes.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the Israeli series created and written by Segahi Avin, <em>Mythological Ex<\/em> is a comedic drama about a woman who\u2014after a psychic tells her she&#8217;s already dated her future husband, and that she\u2019ll remain single unless she can locate him within the next 12 months\u2014decides to revisit all her past relationships to determine who was, and will be, the love of her life. The adaptation of <em>Mythological Ex<\/em> will premiere later this year in a late-night comedy slot on Televisa\u2019s Las Estrellas.<\/p>\n<p>These two most recent orders are part of a larger strategic multi-project partnership between the two companies, in which Televisa commits to acquire rights to adapt four of KI\u2019s scripted formats. As with the two previous deals\u2014for the comedy dramas <em>Loaded<\/em> and <em>Easy Money<\/em>\u2014both of these latest Spanish-language adaptations will air in Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly Wright, KI\u2019s VP of distribution and new business for Latin America, said, \u201cWe\u2019ve loved the way Televisa\u2019s visionary scripted team has already adapted <em>Loaded<\/em> and<em> Easy Money<\/em>, and we\u2019re really looking forward to seeing how they work their magic on <em>Mythological Ex<\/em> and <em>The A Word<\/em>.
