The quiz show The Question Jury<\/em>, originally produced in the U.K. by Monkey for Channel 4, is getting its first international adaptation, having been licensed by Discovery en Espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n The local 20×1-hour version, entitled Debate Goleador<\/em> (Winning Debate<\/em>\/Top Scorer<\/em>), will be produced by Nippur Media. On Discovery en Espa\u00f1ol, the entertainment series will focus on the region\u2019s much-loved topic of soccer, sports and popular culture.<\/p>\n Set inside a sports locker room, each episode sees five strangers work together to answer questions correctly and accumulate cash. The five highest-scoring winners go head-to-head in a bid to win the prize of final tickets to Russia.<\/p>\n NBCUniversal International Formats inked the deal with Discovery Networks Latin America\/U.S. Hispanic.<\/p>\n Ana Langenberg, the senior VP of format sales and production at NBCUniversal International Formats, commented: \u201cDiscovery Networks Latin America\/U.S. Hispanic acts as the perfect international partner for The Question Jury<\/em>. Unlike any quiz show, it\u2019s a hybrid reality-quiz format that promises drama and entertainment, which goes hand-in-hand with the newly developed football theme.
