{"id":6075,"date":"2018-02-09T12:21:58","date_gmt":"2018-02-09T17:21:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/fox-commits-to-another-season-of-the-four\/"},"modified":"2018-02-09T12:47:52","modified_gmt":"2018-02-09T17:47:52","slug":"fox-commits-to-another-season-of-the-four","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/fox-commits-to-another-season-of-the-four\/","title":{"rendered":"FOX Commits to Another Season of The Four"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FOX has renewed the music competition series <em>The Four: Battle for Stardom<\/em> for a second installment.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Four<\/em> was created by Armoza Formats, which produces the show in association with ITV Entertainment.\u00a0The \u00a0sophomore season is due to debut on FOX in the U.S. this summer.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Four<\/em> has become FOX&#8217;s highest-rated new unscripted series in nearly four years among both adults 18 to 49 and total viewers.<\/p>\n<p>Rob Wade, the president of alternative series and specials at Fox Broadcasting Company, commented: &#8220;<em>The Four<\/em> is truly a next-generation show. It has pushed past the boundaries of traditional music competition series by focusing on recording artists in an epic battle to become a superstar. And for the winner, guided by music giants Sean &#8216;Diddy&#8217; Combs, DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor and Republic Records, this is just the beginning. We\u2019d like to thank our panel, our ringleader, Fergie, the contestants and our incredible production team for delivering concert-quality shows every week.
