Currently filming in Budapest, the 13-episode series will be known locally as<em> Korhat\u00e1ros szerelem<\/em>. It is produced by IKO Production Company in cooperation with ContentLab Factory.<\/p>\n<p>The Hungarian news follows the recent announcement of South Pacific Pictures and all3media America\u2019s sale of<em> Step Dave<\/em> to NBC in the U.S. <em>Step Dave<\/em> tells the story of 24-year-old ordinary slacker Dave, who finds his life turned upside down when he meets the girl of his dreams and her three kids.<\/p>\n<p>G\u00e1bor Fischer, the director of programming at TV2 Media Group, said, \u201cWe are happy to introduce <em>Korhat\u00e1ros szerelem<\/em> to the Hungarian market as TV2\u2019s first weekly fictional series. all3media and our Hungarian partners IKO Production Company and ContentLab Factory are the guarantee that viewers will see high-quality entertainment. We believe that the story of <em>Step Dave<\/em> with Hungary\u2019s most popular actors can attract a wide audience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lucy Roberts, sales manager for EMEA North (formats) at all3media International, commented, \u201cWe\u2019re committed to further expanding our scripted format activity globally and working with preeminent producers such as South Pacific Pictures to adapt their successful titles for international broadcast is an integral part of this strategy. Local broadcasters are looking for ideas that lend themselves to adaptation, [are] relevant to their audience and bring proven success from other markets. <em>Step Dave<\/em> strongly delivers on all these qualities and I\u2019m delighted to see TV2, alongside the U.S. and CIS territories, introducing their own versions to new audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kelly Martin, CEO at South Pacific Pictures, commented, \u201cThe premise of <em>Step Dave<\/em> is perfect for international viewers, offering lighthearted prime-time romantic comedy drama with universally relatable characters and contemporary storylines.
