The show will explore the personal experiences of each contributor and their reasons for wanting to capture a particular song. The format is globally distributed by FremantleMedia.<\/p>\n<p>Catherine Catton, commissioning editor for popular factual and factual ent, commented: \u201c<em>The Recording Studio<\/em> will bring pure warmth and joy to BBC One. We\u2019re incredibly excited about removing judgment from performance as this is about enabling contributors to mark an important moment in their lives rather than chase a record deal. I hope by commissioning into this space, we\u2019re demonstrating a real commitment to find new factual-entertainment formats.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amelia Brown, executive producer for Boundless, stated: \u201c<em>The Recording Studio<\/em> is a really inspirational and uplifting format. We follow the journey of each contributor as they share their personal stories to create a remarkable recording for themselves, family or friends to remember forever.
