Weit Media will produce eight prime-time episodes of the format for Russia&#8217;s Rossya 1. Antena in Romania and RTL in Hungary\u00a0ordered 45 and 50 episodes, respectively. Filming for both the Russian and Romanian versions will take place in Poland.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Wall<\/em> first debuted on NBC in the U.S. The format was created by LeBron James, Maverick Carter and Andrew Glassman. It is produced by Glassman Media, SpringHill Entertainment and Universal Television Alternative Studio.<\/p>\n<p>Marina Williams, the COO of international operations at Endemol Shine Group (ESG), remarked: \u201c<em>The Wall<\/em> is a global powerhouse, and the speed of the international rollout is testament to the strength of the format. We\u2019re thrilled to be producing this for TVP1 in Poland, and delivering one of the most talked-about entertainment formats to audiences on Royssa 1 in Russia, Antena in Romania and RTL in Hungary following stellar launches across France, Germany and Spain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lisa Perrin, the CEO of Creative Networks at Endemol Shine Group, stated: \u201cThe hubs in France and Poland make\u00a0<em>The Wall<\/em> truly scalable for any market, enabling the team within ESG\u2019s Creative Networks to build momentum globally. Packed with jeopardy, its unique pay-off plays out differently every time, making this format an electrifying viewing experience with mass audience appeal. I\u2019m excited to see where it moves next.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meredith Ahr, the president of Universal Television Alternative Studio, noted: \u201c<em>The Wall<\/em> is the perfect example of the type of globally relevant content that we\u2019re delivering out of Universal Television Alternative Studio. It\u2019s exportable, scalable and universally compelling, with high stakes and inherent heart.
