{"id":5659,"date":"2017-06-19T11:17:58","date_gmt":"2017-06-19T15:17:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/mtv-international-greenlights-social-first-series-single-af\/"},"modified":"2017-06-19T13:18:20","modified_gmt":"2017-06-19T17:18:20","slug":"mtv-international-greenlights-social-first-series-single-af","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/mtv-international-greenlights-social-first-series-single-af\/","title":{"rendered":"MTV International Greenlights Social-First Series Single AF"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MTV International has given the go-ahead to<em> Single AF<\/em>, a new social-first format featuring celebrities such as Irish popstars Jedward that will play out live via social media this summer prior to the launch of a related on-air series in November.<\/p>\n<p><em>Single AF<\/em> will help celebrity personalities Jedward (John and Edward Grimes), <em>Teen Mom<\/em>\u2019s Farrah Abraham, <em>Geordie Shore<\/em> star Marnie Simpson, English YouTube star Elliot Crawford, Australian drag superstar Courtney Act and London boyband alumna Casey Johnson find love \u201cthe MTV way.\u201d Following the live run across MTV\u2019s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat accounts from June 26 to July 11, a separate series will roll out on-air in November.<\/p>\n<p>The singles will look for love in unconventional ways, including by asking their followers for suggestions on who to date.
