{"id":5548,"date":"2017-04-05T01:00:41","date_gmt":"2017-04-05T05:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2017-04-05T01:15:04","modified_gmt":"2017-04-05T05:15:04","slug":"bbc-worldwide-inks-pan-regional-deal-for-dancing-with-the-stars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/bbc-worldwide-inks-pan-regional-deal-for-dancing-with-the-stars\/","title":{"rendered":"BBC Worldwide Inks Pan-Regional Deal for Dancing with the Stars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BBC Worldwide has secured a pan-regional deal with Central Media Enterprise Group (CME Group) for <em>Dancing with the Stars<\/em> across five territories in Central Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Among the group\u2019s commercial broadcasters included as part of the deal are Pro TV in Romania and Pop TV in Slovenia, where the series has already proven popular, as both channels launched the format in March. <em>Dancing with the Stars<\/em> was also renewed on bTV in Bulgaria and Markiza TV in Slovakia. <em>Dancing with the Stars<\/em> will have a new home in Croatia on Nova TV.<\/p>\n<p>Salim Mukaddam, the general manager and VP of CEE at BBC Worldwide,\u00a0said, \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to be partnering with CME Group to bring <em>Dancing with the Stars<\/em> to new audiences around Central Europe. This deal cements our already strong relationship with CME Group as our premier partner for entertainment formats in the region. We\u2019ve already seen with the success of the show in Romania and Slovenia, BBC Worldwide\u2019s formats, programming and channels really do thrive in this part of the world and we look forward to continuing to expand our partnership with CME Group.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tubi Neustadt, the content production director at CME Group, added, \u201c<em>Dancing with the Stars<\/em> is the perfect program for us and our broadcasters across the region.
