Lionsgate will have exclusive rights to the TV content produced by Apploff Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>Apploff has a long list of credits in the game-show arena. Most recently, he created the prime-time musical game show\u00a0<em>Beat Shazam<\/em>\u00a0for FOX, which will be produced in conjunction with\u00a0Mark Burnett. Previously, Apploff executive produced the prime-time network game show<em>\u00a0BOOM!\u00a0<\/em>for FOX, alongside Keshet and dick clark productions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jeff is a world-class showrunner, a respected collaborator and a prolific creator of high-end unscripted content with global appeal,&#8221; said Jennifer O&#8217;Connell, Lionsgate&#8217;s executive VP of alternative.\u00a0&#8220;As Lionsgate Television expands its alternative programming portfolio to include big formats that can travel around the world, we&#8217;re fortunate to add Jeff and his talented team at Apploff Entertainment, including\u00a0Wes Kauble\u00a0and\u00a0Danielle Peress, as rich sources of incredible shows and formats.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve built my entire career surrounding myself with amazing people who do incredible things, and Kevin, Sandra, Jennifer, Brian and the rest of the Lionsgate team are beyond exceptional,&#8221; said Apploff, the president and CEO of Apploff Entertainment. &#8220;The opportunity for us to partner with a prestigious studio ramping up its unscripted slate was a no-brainer.
