ULTIMO: ABC Commercial has licensed the factual format You Can’t Ask That<\/em> to new broadcasters in Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands, Spain and France.<\/p>\n

You Can’t Ask That<\/em> looks on as marginalized groups of people\u2014from sex workers to Muslims\u2014answer anonymous and taboo questions. In addition to the new European sales, the format has been picked up for broadcast in the U.S. and Brazil. The show already debuted on\u00a0ABC’s iView VOD service and ABC TV in Australia.<\/p>\n

Katherine McMillan, sales manager for formats and Latin America at ABC Commercial, commented: \u201cThe raft of deals, including with Newen in France and avid interest across Europe, show the strength of You Can\u2019t Ask That<\/em>. We\u2019re confident more territories will embrace the program as audiences clearly have an appetite for thought-provoking and candid stories.\u201d<\/p>\n
