TEL AVIV: Armoza Formats\u2019 studio game show\u00a0Babushka<\/em> has been licensed in Spain by TVG, with the first season slated to air daily beginning next week.<\/p>\n

The local Spanish version is produced by Productora Faro and is comprised of 65 episodes. In addition, French prodco CBecauseTV snapped up local rights for the format, becoming the sixth territory to license Babushka.<\/em><\/p>\n

Created by Armoza Formats, Babushka<\/em> challenges contestants to open eight out of ten giant Russian babushka dolls for the chance to win up to $500,000. If the doll the contestant\u00a0chooses to open contains another doll inside, he or she\u00a0continues to play, but if a babushka is empty, the contestant loses any money that was previously accumulated.<\/p>\n
