LONDON: Italy’s NOVE is the first European channel to come on board the NBCUniversal International Formats entertainment show Hidden Singer<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Ballandi Multimedia will produce the six-part\u00a0Hidden Singer Italia<\/em> for the Discovery Italia channel. The\u00a0format, a talent show for imitative singers, has been a hit in Asia, starting on JTBC in Korea and also faring well in Thailand and Vietnam.<\/p>\n

Hannah Worrall, VP of format sales at\u00a0NBCUniversal International Formats, noted, \u201cHidden Singer<\/em> is an entertaining and high-tension competition, which has been hugely successful in Asia. Italy\u2019s channel NOVE acts as the perfect destination for our first European remake and we hope that this new twist on the popular musical talent show will attract the attention of networks internationally.\u201d<\/p>\n
