Launching in 2017, the Brazilian adaptation comes on the heels of the success of the Argentine version, <em>Pesadilla en la Cocina<\/em>,\u00a0on Telefe. There was also a Chilean version on Chilevision.<\/p>\n<p>Other recent deals on the show, which originated on Channel 4, include a first-time commission by TVI in Portugal and a sixth-season renewal by Atresmedia in Spain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re very excited to bring all3media\u2019s <em>Kitchen Nightmares<\/em> to Brazil in 2017,&#8221; said Diego Guebel, content director at Bandeirantes. &#8220;Latin America has a booming restaurant industry with many superb chefs that could bring their own unique style to the show. We\u2019ve already secured the talents of chef \u00c9rick Jacquin for our new series and look forward to working closely with \u00c9rick and Eyeworks to create a fantastic prime-time series packed with real-life entertainment and inspiring stories.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Facundo Bailez, sales manager for EMEA South and Latin America (formats) at all3media International, commented, \u201cI\u2019m very pleased to announce this brand-new commission for <em>Kitchen Nightmares<\/em> as we head to MIP Cancun, underlining our ongoing success across Latin America.
