CANNES: German broadcaster ZDF has commissioned a local version of the Tuesday’s Child\u00a0format For What It’s Worth<\/em> from Tower Productions, a joint venture between BBC Worldwide and All3Media.<\/p>\n

For What It’s Worth<\/em> sees\u00a0contestants answer general-knowledge questions for the chance to pick antique lots on display. At the end of the game, the\u00a0team that has curated the most valuable collection wins.\u00a0The German adaptation of the show will go into production\u00a0later this year. The initial 20-episode run is slated for broadcast on ZDFneo in early 2017.<\/p>\n

For What It’s Worth<\/em> originally aired on BBC One in the U.K. The BBC One series and the format are distributed by BBC Worldwide.<\/p>\n
