Originally produced by Optomen for the U.K.\u2019s Channel 4, the show&#8217;s new Portuguese version will be produced by Shine Iberia, with a 13-episode run launching later this year.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Discovery in Spain commissioned a\u00a0local adaptation of <em>Hotel Hell<\/em>, with an eight-episode season to be produced by Shine Iberia. The show follows an expert hotelier on a tour of the country\u2019s worst hotels. After enduring a night in the hotel, the expert\u00a0shares wisdom to bring the businesses up to standard.<\/p>\n<p>Also in Spain, <em>Kitchen Nightmares<\/em> has been recommissioned for a sixth season due to air later this year, produced by Warner Brothers for LaSexta.<\/p>\n<p>Facundo Bailez, the sales manager for EMEA South and Latin America (formats) at all3media International, commented: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to close these significant new format commissions for <em>Hotel Hell<\/em> and <em>Kitchen Nightmares<\/em> in key territories in Europe. The transformations these businesses undergo in each episode creates fascinating viewing, as the no-nonsense experts impart their secrets to business success, offering struggling establishments a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to turn their fortunes around.
