The format is a Mexican adaptation of Kapow\u2019s cooking show <em>Cocineros Argentinos<\/em>, which also has a localized version in Chile.<\/p>\n<p>FremantleMedia will manage all aspects of the production and the creative development. The series will be recorded in TV Azteca Studios and launch October 17 on Azteca 7.<\/p>\n<p>Adrian Santucho, the CEO of FremantleMedia Mexico, U.S. Hispanic and pan-regional, said: \u201cWe are excited to start production of <em>Cocineros Mexicanos<\/em> as part of our commitment to produce successful formats in Mexico. TV Azteca is one of our most important clients and we are looking forward to bringing the brilliantly entertaining elements of the format to this new local version.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Coty Cagliolo, the VP of development for Latin America at FremantleMedia, added: \u201cWe\u2019ve had fun managing this series and that\u2019s reflected on screen. The enthusiasm from the chefs and colorful recipes bursting with delicious ingredients come together to produce a vibrant live show.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rodrigo Fernandez, the CEO of Study Group 7 TV Azteca, Mexico, remarked: \u201cThanks to the expertise of two large companies, TV Azteca and FremantleMedia, this is a great co-production.
