{"id":4861,"date":"2016-04-03T12:35:06","date_gmt":"2016-04-03T16:35:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/global-agency-mipformats-host-world-premiere-of-the-legend\/"},"modified":"2016-04-03T12:44:31","modified_gmt":"2016-04-03T16:44:31","slug":"global-agency-mipformats-host-world-premiere-of-the-legend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/global-agency-mipformats-host-world-premiere-of-the-legend\/","title":{"rendered":"Global Agency Hosts World Premiere of The Legend at MIPFormats"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CANNES: Closing out MIPFormats this evening, Global Agency presented its brand-new talent show <em>The Legend <\/em>with a special world premiere in the Palais.<\/p>\n<p>Izzet Pinto, the CEO of Global Agency who also created the concept for <em>The Legend<\/em>, welcomed the audience in the packed auditorium. \u201cWe have been saying that this is the next big thing,\u201d said Pinto, noting that this is a large promise to deliver on but one he takes very seriously. \u201cI fully believe in it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His introduction was followed by the premiere of <em>The Legend<\/em>. While most TV talent shows allow a jury or the audience to decide whether a contestant moves forward or not, this format gives participants the chance to write their own destiny\u2014the power is in the hands of the contestants themselves.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the format business, the most important thing is creating feelings for the viewers at home,\u201d said Pinto. The feelings created by <em>The Legend<\/em>, he explained, include \u201ccuriosity,\u201d along with \u201chappy moments,\u201d and viewers getting \u201cangry when contestants are scared to take risks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pinto added, \u201cSince this format creates all these great [emotions], I strongly believe this can be the next big hit. For the last four years, there has been nothing new in talent shows.
