The show reveals the special wishes being fulfilled for each unsuspecting recipient.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander Gardiner, the managing director of Shiver, said: \u201c<em>The Wishing Tree<\/em> is a brilliantly simple idea with a wonderful objective at its heart. Not only are we tapping into Talpa\u2019s vast portfolio to bring the show to the U.K.\u2014we\u2019re also enjoying the benefit of their experience producing this unique format for European audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Peter Davey, the commissioning editor of entertainment at ITV, commented: \u201cWe are excited to see the potential of this uplifting, family entertainment format, and are looking forward to working closely with Shiver and Talpa.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Madeleine Knight, the director of development and formats at Talpa UK, said: \u201c<em>The Wishing Tree<\/em> is a simple and inspiring show which gives young children the chance to dream big.
