This is the first project to come out of ITV Studios and Talpa&#8217;s exclusive production partnership.\u00a0Talpa has already produced two seasons of the show\u2014featuring parent-child duos\u2014for NPO3 in the Netherlands. A third seasons is due to debut this summer.<\/p>\n<p>David Mott, the CEO of ITV Studios Australia, remarked: \u201cIn <em>Cannonball<\/em>, Talpa has created a hilarious and energetic entertainment event which is set to be water-cooler viewing for Seven\u2019s viewers. I can\u2019t wait to see if Australia\u2019s bravest and fittest young couples have what it takes to make the biggest splash on <em>Cannonball<\/em>!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brad Lyons, Seven\u2019s director of production, stated: \u201cAustralians of all ages will be cheering on our fearless contestants as they attempt to fly further, faster and harder than their competitors. Expect high flying thrills and stupendous spills\u2014<em>Cannonball<\/em>\u2019s got it all!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maarten Meijs, the managing director of Talpa Global, added: \u201cWe couldn\u2019t think of a better home for <em>Cannonball<\/em> than Australia and are positive Seven and ITV Studios will do the format justice.
