The 24&#215;30-minute series will be produced by Zamaleev Productions and will premiere this month. <em>Sexy Beasts<\/em> has also been adapted in Korea for KBS, China for Tencent, Lithuania for TV3 and in the U.S. for A&amp;E Network. In Germany, a second season has been commissioned by Sixx.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by Lion Television for BBC Three in the U.K., the original 8&#215;30-minute series has also been picked up in Australia for ABC, Belgium for SBS and Sweden for SVT. Discovery has acquired <em>Sexy Beasts<\/em> for its Italian and Dutch feeds, and the series also airs with various inflight providers.<\/p>\n<p>The show uses Hollywood-style prosthetics to disguise suitors before they go on dates. Putting looks aside, it poses the question, will their date like them for their personality?<\/p>\n<p>Lucy Roberts, the sales manager of formats for northern EMEA at all3media international, said, \u201c<em>Sexy Beasts<\/em> presents dating hopefuls with a brand-new, imaginative perspective on their search for love, taking the classic \u2018blind date\u2019 to a completely different level. Offering viewers a uniquely insightful and entertaining look at dating, this simple, easily adaptable format has already proved hugely popular in a range of key territories.
