TEL AVIV: TV Azteca has picked up the format rights for Dori Media\u2019s romantic comedy My Lovely Hope<\/em> (Esperanza mia<\/em>).<\/p>\n

The Mexican company will produce a local version of the series for Canal 13, due out in a prime time slot early this year. The format is a co-production between Dori Media International and Pol-Ka Producciones. The show was recently sold to Poland\u2019s Polsat and Spain\u2019s Planeta Junior, with other sales being made to Israel\u2019s Kids Channel and Viva, FMN Indonesia and Bolivia\u2019s ATB channel.<\/p>\n

Nadav Palti, the CEO and president of Dori Media Group, commented: \u201cThis sale to TV Azteca highlights the growing international reach of Esperanza mia<\/em>. With sales spanning the globe from Latin America to Indonesia, the format is already proving itself as one that can be easily tailored to audiences around the world. We are sure the success the show has already achieved in Argentina will be replicated internationally and we look forward to seeing the show\u2019s popularity continue to grow.\u201d<\/p>\n
