ITV has also signed a two-season contract for <em>The Voice Kids<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tEarlier this month, the BBC announced that the fifth season of the hit format, which will begin airing in January 2016, would be its last.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tPeter Fincham, the director of television at ITV, said: &ldquo;ITV is the natural home of big entertainment so we are thrilled that<em> The Voice<\/em> and <em>The Voice Kids <\/em>are both joining our family alongside brilliant shows like <em>The X Factor<\/em>, <em>Britain&rsquo;s Got Talent<\/em>, <em>Saturday Night Takeaway<\/em> and <em>I&rsquo;m a Celebrity&#8230;Get Me Out of Here<\/em>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tElaine Bedell, ITV&#039;s director of entertainment and comedy, added: &ldquo;From the compelling blind auditions, through to the nail-biting battle rounds, knockouts and live shows, <em>The Voice<\/em> has become a worldwide sensation and we are very much looking forward to its arrival on ITV in 2017.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tJohn de Mol, Talpa&#039;s founder and creator of <em>The Voice<\/em>, said: &ldquo;We are delighted that <em>The Voice<\/em> has found a new home at ITV.
