\n\tSINGAPORE: Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks, Asia, has commissioned a local version of Cash Cab<\/em> for AXN in the Philippines.<\/p>\n \n\tSPT Networks has been expanding its roster of local content for its channels in Asia; most recently it aired a regional version of the Got Talent <\/em>format. Cash Cab <\/em>for the Philippines went into production this week for a December premiere on AXN. The channel previously aired a pan-regional adaptation of the format.<\/p>\n \n\t“Cash Cab Philippines <\/em>is a localized adaptation of AXN’s very successful Cash Cab Asia<\/em>, so the show will immediately resonate with our Filipino viewers," said Hui Keng Ang, senior VP and general manager of SPT Networks Asia.
