The series follows six celebrities as they team up with a partner, friend or family member to compete in an epic adventure set against the striking chaos and beauty of India.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis uplifting, visually striking and character\u2011driven adventure reality format combines jeopardy, scale, emotion, culture and strategy in a distinctive way,\u201d said James Townley, chief content officer of development at Banijay. \u201cShowcasing it this week at our exclusive event for the London TV Screenings will put its international potential at the forefront, and we expect this vibrant format will resonate across multiple markets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are incredibly proud of our biking culture here in the Netherlands, but cycling across India takes the tradition to an all-new level,\u201d said Rob van der Vleugel, managing director of EndemolShine Nederland. \u201cIt pushes the teams out of their comfort zones and into the heart of local communities. It\u2019s a feel-good and authentic reality adventure competition with a unique, outstanding visual element, the bicycle.
