Dom Bird has left his role as senior international TV executive at Amazon MGM Studios to launch his own unscripted venture EarlyBird, which will maintain a studio deal with his former company.<\/p>\n

Bird, who established and led MGM\u2019s U.K. unscripted division, will continue to executive produce major unscripted IP along with Amazon MGM Studios, including BBC One\u2019s Gladiators<\/em> and The Apprentice<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Bird has spent over two decades in unscripted television, marked by a track record of commissioning and producing some of the U.K.\u2019s most successful formats. At Channel 4, as head of formats, he greenlit breakout hits such as Hunted<\/em>, Celebrity Hunted<\/em>, LEGO Masters<\/em>, Tattoo Fixers<\/em> and Celebs Go Dating<\/em>.
