Ranking the Stars<\/em>, a format originally created by TV Asahi and distributed by Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP), is marking 20 years since its Dutch debut with the premiere of its 20th season on RTL 4 in the Netherlands this week.<\/p>\n

\u201cRanking the Stars<\/em> is a format that audiences have grown up with, and one they continue to come back to together across generations and changing viewing habits,\u201d said Andr\u00e9 Renaud, WBITVP\u2019s group VP of format and finished sales. \u201cIts longevity speaks to the strength of the original idea from our partners at TV Asahi, and reaching this milestone in the Netherlands is a real achievement. I\u2019m sure that viewers will love seeing this new season come to life, and there\u2019s every reason to believe there will be plenty more laughter to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new Dutch season, produced by Medialane, is hosted by Paul de Leeuw. The game show invites celebrities to rate themselves and each other with complete honesty.<\/p>\n
