An Indian adaptation of the competition format The Fifty<\/em> is set to bow on JioHotstar and Colors TV on February 1.<\/p>\n

Produced by Banijay Asia, the new iteration marks the fifth adaptation for the format. Set within a grand Mahal, 50 reality TV stars will face the challenges of a mysterious Game Master, hidden behind a lion mask, and compete to grow a shared jackpot.<\/p>\n

Eliminations will be decided by the players themselves. The cash prize will not be awarded to the winner but to one of their registered followers, selected via the show\u2019s app.<\/p>\n

The Fifty<\/em> is based French unscripted label B Prod\u2019s Les Cinquante<\/em>. It originally aired on M6. It has been adapted for Poland, Germany and the U.S. Hispanic market.<\/p>\n
