{"id":15477,"date":"2025-11-21T12:33:17","date_gmt":"2025-11-21T17:33:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/power-couple-scores-spanish-language-adaptation-with-televisaunivision\/"},"modified":"2025-11-21T13:16:01","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T18:16:01","slug":"power-couple-scores-spanish-language-adaptation-with-televisaunivision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/power-couple-scores-spanish-language-adaptation-with-televisaunivision\/","title":{"rendered":"Power Couple Scores TelevisaUnivision Adaptation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dori Media Group has sold its format <em>Power Couple<\/em> to TelevisaUnivision for a 24\/7, Spanish-language version that will debut across all of the broadcaster\u2019s platforms in the U.S. and Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled that TelevisaUnivision is set to launch this exciting new 24\/7 version of our hit series<em> Power Couple<\/em> across all its channels and ViX starting in January,\u201d said Nadav Palti, Dori Media\u2019s CEO. \u201cThis format has become a true global sensation, with local versions now in more than 20 territories worldwide and many additional sales expected in 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new version, produced locally by Fremantle Mexico and known as <em>\u00bfApostar\u00edas por m\u00ed?<\/em> (<em>Would you bet on me?<\/em>), will air Monday through Friday on Unimas, with Sunday Galas on Univision and Las Estrellas. It will broadcast 24\/7 via ViX. It is set to make its debut on January 18.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Power Couple<\/em> format was originally created by Abot Hameiri.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very excited about the opportunity to produce this multi-platform format, which will be available in both the U.S. and Mexico,\u201d commented Johanna Helman, Fremantle\u2019s head of production in Latin America. \u201cStarting 2026 in partnership with TelevisaUnivision\/ViX and based on a global success from Dori Media fills us with joy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Roee Strikovski, CEO of Abot Hameiri (Fremantle Israel), added, \u201cThe <em>Power Couple<\/em> universe continues to expand. Together with Fremantle Latin America, we\u2019re creating a 24\/7 version that preserves the heart and values of the original while evolving it into something even bigger.
