{"id":15398,"date":"2025-10-13T09:58:14","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T13:58:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/the-auction-lands-italian-iteration\/"},"modified":"2025-10-13T09:58:29","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T13:58:29","slug":"the-auction-lands-italian-iteration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/the-auction-lands-italian-iteration\/","title":{"rendered":"The Auction Lands Italian Iteration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dori Media Group and Abot Hameiri\u2019s new original game show <em>The Auction<\/em> is getting an Italian version, produced by Blu Yazmine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFollowing our successful debut of <em>The Auction<\/em> in Peru on Am\u00e9rica Televisi\u00f3n, we are excited to now travel this new format for the first time and bring it to Italian audiences,\u201d said Dori Media\u2019s CEO Nadav Palti. \u201cAnd we are thrilled that the team at Blu Yazmine, who have successfully produced many of the world\u2019s top unscripted formats in Italy, have retained the local rights to the series and are currently developing a new version of <em>The Auction<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>The Auction<\/em> debuted in Peru on Am\u00e9rica Televisi\u00f3n as La Subasta and became the number one show in its prime-time slot during the summer and into the fall.<\/p>\n<p>In the format, two families compete without knowing what is inside the mysterious auction boxes, relying only on bizarre AI-generated clues that get more absurd as the bidding intensifies. Each team uses an equal budget to try and acquire prizes with the highest real-world value.
