Prime Video has given a second-season order to the U.K. version of Last One Laughing<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Carr returns to host season two, which is slated to launch on Prime Video globally in 2026. The cast for the new season will be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n

“I’m absolutely delighted that Last One Laughing<\/em> is coming back for a second series,” Carr said. “I think what\u2019s happened is someone high up at Amazon has clicked \u2018subscribe & save\u2019 on Prime Video and, hey presto, we\u2019re back in business. I\u2019m so pleased people had as much fun watching the first season as we had making it. Can\u2019t wait to bask in the reflected glory of the next ten comedy legends taking on the challenge.”<\/p>\n

The 6×30-minute show is made by Banijay UK labels Zeppotron and Initial. Since launching in Japan as Documental<\/em>, created by and starring Hitoshi Matsumoto and owned by Yoshimoto Kogyo, the format has been remade in some 20 territories, including Ireland, Canada, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Australia and South Africa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
