The winner of each challenge becomes the Snake, earning control of who gets to stay and who must leave.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from the challenges, the contestants must work to win each other over. The ultimate winner earns a grand prize of $100,000.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Snake<\/em> is set to premiere this summer on FOX and stream the next day on Hulu.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Snake<\/em> is being produced by 495 Productions. SallyAnn Salsano (<em>Jersey Shore<\/em>, <em>Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer<\/em>) serves as executive producer and showrunner. Frank Miccolis and Kim Green also serve as executive producers.<\/p>\n<p>The format is wholly owned by FOX Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSallyAnn brings her uniquely original voice to FOX with this fresh take on the strategy competition series and a universally appealing concept that will captivate audiences,\u201d said Michael Thorn, president of FOX Television Network. \u201cTrust me, <em>The Snake<\/em> lives up to its name.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jefferies commented, \u201cI&#8217;m thrilled to be hosting <em>The Snake<\/em>\u2014a show about making friends and faking friends. I&#8217;ve been training for this job my whole life.
