{"id":14915,"date":"2025-02-28T08:30:27","date_gmt":"2025-02-28T13:30:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2025-02-28T08:59:46","modified_gmt":"2025-02-28T13:59:46","slug":"next-level-chef-franchise-expanding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/next-level-chef-franchise-expanding\/","title":{"rendered":"Next Level Chef Franchise Expanding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gordon Ramsay\u2019s cooking competition <em>Next Level Chef<\/em> has landed a two-season renewal at FOX and is set for a franchise expansion with <em>Next Level Baker<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Next Level Chef<\/em> has been renewed for seasons five and six, while <em>Next Level Baker<\/em> receives the greenlight for season one. <em>Next Level Baker<\/em> will test the skills of bakers as they are challenged to create delights across the franchise\u2019s three iconic levels.<\/p>\n<p><em>Next Level Baker <\/em>will run as four hour-long seasonal specials.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Next Level Chef<\/em> consistently raises the bar of culinary excellence as a high-stakes food competition fans love, an invaluable franchise for FOX and an increasingly popular global format,\u201d said Michael Thorn, president of FOX Television Network. \u201cExtending the reach of this series with the new holiday competition <em>Next Level Baker<\/em> once again exemplifies the strength of our incredible, long-standing collaborative partnership with Gordon, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m delighted that <em>Next Level Baker<\/em> is coming to FOX later this year,\u201d said Ramsay. \u201cA holiday special, where passionate home cooks, more used to crafting treats for their family, will compete against social media creators, individuals who fill our feeds with photo-ready creations, side by side with talented professional pastry chefs, impressing with Michelin-starred perfection. My very first job was baking in Paris, and to me, there is nothing better than the smell of freshly baked bread. I\u2019m hoping on these holiday specials, we get to discover Incredible family recipes handed down through generations of bakers, inventive bakers cleverly working with dietary sensitivities and those with a talent for stunning creativity and elevated design work. This holiday season, I cannot wait to discover the baking heart of America.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Seasons five and six of <em>Next Level Chef<\/em> will be produced by BiggerStage and Studio Ramsay on behalf of Studio Ramsay Global.
