Fremantle has acquired the international distribution rights, excluding Canada, for the reality competition format House of Secrets<\/em>.<\/p>\n The genre-bending reality competition sees personal secrets, psychological gameplay and eerie suspense drive the ultimate battle for survival. The format is produced by the Canadian production company Sphere Media and is inspired by the French crime thriller series Aller Simple. House of Secrets<\/em> will launch on Bell Media\u2019s Crave streaming platform this spring.<\/p>\n In House of Secrets<\/em>, ten contestants, each guarding a personal secret, enter an isolated cottage cut off from the outside world. Before the first player is dropped via a trapdoor, 15 secrets are revealed\u2014ten true and five fabricated. To survive, they must separate fact from fiction.<\/p>\n Vasha Wallace, executive VP of global acquisitions and development for global entertainment at Fremantle, said: \u201cWe all have secrets, but the hardest part is keeping them.
