Production is underway on the talent competition show SONG vs DANCE<\/em> from Japan\u2019s TV Asahi and Craig Plestis and Clara Plestis\u2019s Smart Dog Media.<\/p>\n

The co-produced show has commenced filming at TV Asahi\u2019s main studio in Roppongi, Tokyo. Hosted by a Japanese comedian, the format features an action-packed competition with a diverse panel of Japanese judges and talent. Offering their expertise and insights throughout the competition, the panel includes the lead vocalist of a popular J-pop group, a break-dancing Olympian and a comedian who is an Instagram sensation.<\/p>\n

Executive producers are Craig Plestis and Clara Plestis, with Takaaki Kitano taking the lead in production. SONG vs DANCE<\/em> marks TV Asahi\u2019s first co-production with a U.S.-based partner, Smart Dog Media.<\/p>\n

The show will be the focus of a session at MIP London on Monday, February 24, from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Turing Theatre, IET London. The session will feature Craig Plestis, Clara Plestis and Kitano.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
