ITV is bringing to its lineup the new entertainment format The Neighbourhood<\/em>, hosted by Graham Norton.<\/p>\n

Coming next year to ITV1 and ITVX, the new 12-part series features high-stakes competition, epic challenges and relatable domestic drama. It sees real-life households from all walks of life move in side by side, finding themselves not only neighbors but also fierce competitors in a reality showdown.<\/p>\n

This is a game the households will live as well as play. They\u2019ll be with each other 24\/7, sleeping and eating in their houses, socializing between them\u2014and then voting each other out. The challenges they face in public will change the dynamics behind closed doors. To win, they\u2019ll need to defeat their neighbors while still staying popular on the street.<\/p>\n

The format was developed by Lifted Entertainment\u2019s development team, led by Kat Hebden and development exec Ed Daggett, alongside the Garden’s director of development, Mike Philo. Lifted Entertainment and The Garden, both part of ITV Studios, will co-produce.<\/p>\n

Norton said: \u201cLike everyone, I\u2019m always intrigued by what goes on behind closed doors. Add to that some dastardly challenges and a life-changing prize, and I\u2019m hooked. Both Lifted and The Garden are masters at what they do, so I feel confident The Neighbourhood<\/em> will be the nation’s favorite destination!\u201d<\/p>\n

Katie Rawcliffe, director of entertainment and daytime at ITV, said: \u201cThe Neighbourhood<\/em> offers audiences the perfect blend of high-stakes competition and reality drama, with a very relatable cast. With the beloved Graham Norton at the helm, it\u2019s going to make for an unmissable entertainment experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richard Cowles, managing director at Lifted Entertainment, and John Hay, CEO of The Garden, said: \u201cIn a TV landscape full of successful formats set in jungles, islands and luxurious villas, The Neighbourhood<\/em> offers a fresh and different flavor: it\u2019s a show all about the drama on our doorsteps.
