Last year\u2019s season averaged 3.2 million viewers across its run, peaking at 4.1 million, making it the second biggest entertainment teatime title.<\/p>\n<p>The first season of <em>Alan Carr\u2019s Picture Slam<\/em> aired in 2023 and was the BBC\u2019s biggest entertainment launch of the year and the second biggest new entertainment launch across the market.<\/p>\n<p>Carr said: \u201cI am beyond excited that <em>Picture Slam<\/em> is back for a series three. This show is an absolute joy to be part of\u2014irreverent, silly, but most importantly, fun! And you never know, you might even learn something!! Here\u2019s to slamming more pictures!!! Yay!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Toby Stevens and Ben Shephard, executive producers of <em>Picture Slam<\/em>, said: \u201cIt\u2019s brilliant to be able to welcome Alan Carr back to Glasgow to make more <em>Picture Slam<\/em>. While you never know quite what you\u2019ll get in our weird and wonderful mix of pictures, with Alan at the helm, we do know there\u2019ll be plenty of laughs and loads of play-along fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kalpna Patel-Knight, head of entertainment at the BBC, added: \u201cOur audience will be excited to know that there\u2019s going to be a third series of <em>Alan Carr\u2019s Picture Slam<\/em>. Alan is truly one of the best hosts on TV; he has a magical way of connecting with the contestants with his infectious energy and quick wit.
