Fifty episodes, which first aired on Game Show Network in the U.S., are available to stream now in the U.K.<\/p>\n<p>The series is co-produced by Game Show Enterprises Studios and STV Studios, based on an original format created by the latter. In the format, an interactive bridge invites players to cross by stepping on the right answers to challenging trivia questions. Each step forward puts money in the team\u2019s bank, with bonus money for each successful crossing. However, the team only gets to keep the money if it can \u201cbeat the bridge\u201d by returning one of its players back across before time expires.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis game is for everybody,\u201d Mathison said. \u201cYou can play if you\u2019re an expert in trivia or if you\u2019re not an expert in trivia. And you\u2019re going to be so surprised at the twists and turns and the way things end. People are going to love it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Richard Williams, managing director of digital at STV, commented, \u201c<em>Bridge of Lies<\/em> has been a huge success for the BBC and has amassed a loyal and passionate fan base, so it\u2019s a no-brainer for us to bring the equally brilliant U.S. version of the show over to this side of the pond.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201c<em>Beat the Bridge<\/em> is jam-packed with thrilling gameplay, enthusiastic contestants and the fantastic Cameron Mathison very much making the show his own as host.
