Bell Media has acquired Hungary\u2019s version of The Traitors <\/em>from All3Media International.<\/p>\n

The first season of The Traitors Hungary<\/em>, produced by Paprika Studios, will stream in Canada on Crave. The Hungarian adaptation of the hit reality competition is now in its second season on RTL.<\/p>\n

Bell Media previously commissioned Canadian iterations of The Traitors<\/em>, both hosted by Karine Vanasse. The English-language version is currently airing its second season on CTV. The French-language version for Noovo has an upcoming second season.<\/p>\n

The Traitors<\/em> was created and developed by Marc Pos and Jasper Hoogendoorn, creative director of IDTV, in collaboration with RTL Creative Unit. Since its launch in the Netherlands on RTL 4 in 2021, it has found success around the world with over 30 versions and numerous recurring seasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Traitors<\/em> has been an extraordinary journey for RTL Hungary, achieving tremendous success with its first two seasons here, captivating viewers with its unique and thrilling format,\u201d said P\u00e9ter Kolosi, chief content officer for RTL Hungary. \u201cWe are delighted to see this momentum extend beyond Hungary, as the first season has now been acquired by Bell Media in Canada. From now on, international viewers can also enjoy the plots and twists of the Hungarian version. This milestone reinforces the universal appeal of the show and highlights the exceptional creativity and talent behind its production.\u201d<\/p>\n
