CJ ENM’s Korean reality format Youn’s Kitchen<\/em> is set to be adapted in Taiwan under the title Ai’s Kitchen<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Taiwanese adaptation, which marks the first international remake for the show, is produced by Titan Creative Entertainment. The series is slated to premiere on October 5 on Sanlih Entertainment Television (SET), Netflix in Asian territories and Chinese Television System (CTS).<\/p>\n

Ai’s Kitchen<\/em> aims to showcase Chinese cuisine to a global audience, led by the Chinese actress Sylvia Chang. The original Korean format featured stars such as Yoon Yuh-jung, Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi and Park Seo-jun.<\/p>\n

“We are thrilled to see Youn’s Kitchen<\/em> being adapted for the first time internationally,” said Diane Min, head of format sales at CJ ENM. “The original series was a tremendous success in Korea, and we are confident that Ai’s Kitchen<\/em> will bring the same level of charm and entertainment to Taiwanese audiences. We look forward to seeing how this local version will resonate with viewers and bring a fresh perspective to the format.”<\/p>\n

Producer B2 stated, “Sylvia Chang is not only the most representative Chinese actress but also highly skilled in cooking. She was our only choice at the time! She loves cooking and has always dreamed of owning a restaurant! She was very interested in the content and spent a lot of time discussing whether she could make a breakthrough. The main focus of the discussions was on the dishes and how to make them appealing to foreigners.
