Mitre Studios has promoted Gemma Nightingale to head of entertainment.<\/p>\n

In her new role, Nightingale will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of Mitre Studios’ entertainment shows on television. With projects currently in production, Nightingale will also play a key role in Mitre Studios\u2019 branded entertainment content, acting as an executive producer across all branded output.<\/p>\n

Nightingale has worked on a host of hit prime-time entertainment shows, including I\u2019m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here<\/em>, Ant & Dec\u2019s Saturday Night Takeaway<\/em>, The Royal Variety Performance<\/em>, Limitless Win<\/em> and Stars In Their Eyes<\/em>. She has also delivered multiplatform branded content such as Santander \u2018Bank of AntanDec\u2019 and TUI \u2018Happiness Ambassadors\u2019 campaigns.<\/p>\n

Mitre Studios’ managing director, Ed Sleeman, said: \u201cGemma has played key roles on all of Ant and Dec\u2019s Entertainment shows for over a decade, and she also has a brilliant development mind. There is, therefore, no one better placed to lead this department at Mitre Studios, so I\u2019m delighted to be promoting Gemma to head of entertainment.\u201d<\/p>\n
